305 TBI ideas
looking to make my 305 have a little more pep. thinking of rebuilding the engine and putting on different heads but dont want to change the intake manifold. and whould like a cam that is geared for low to midrange rpm so i get of the line faster. and if there is any other ideas how to make it quicker add those too.

Just my own opinion..... If you were going to change the heads and cam, it would be stupid not to change the intake manifold. The Edelbrock performer tbi gives you more hp without losing torque. Keep in mind that just getting off the line quicker won't win races. You need a balance of high rpm hp and good low to mid range torque.

Cehck out some sale/auction sites for the TBI intake manifold, you can score a used one pretty cheap.
