Fun at track with fellow Thirdgen TBI member.
Went to the track with my friend Jeremy, and met 305Camaro while I was there. He had pretty similar mods but a 2.73 open differential. He was running about the same times and mph that I was.
My best time was a 14.88@ 91.7mph
My best speed was 14.898 @ 93.5mph
He was consistently about 0.04 faster than I, and had a really good looking 91 or 92 RS (forgot which). It's always nice to meet up with someone from the boards unexpectedly.
We were both cutting 2.2 60' times, and I had a 3.42 posi.
I was surprised he could do that with a 2.73 open diff. Traction must have been pretty good that day.
Edit: I think his car was about 70-150 lbs lighter than mine (3590 w/ me in it), as well.
