For truck guys or camaro guys who want to do vortec head swaps it is possible to retain stock egr by running a 96' pickup exhaust manifold or headers. I dont know what year on the headers for camaro but Im sure you guys might have seen a newer motor with this funky tube on it. The cold air intakes on the trucks can be modified for about $23.00 I took a 3" exhaust tube and cut it too length in place of the stock sound box which was about 1 3/4" inside diameter. Had it chromed and clamped it in place. Aftermarket sells these torque tubes for $75.00, if you dont chrome it, it will cost you $3.00 These tubes are a must with an aftermarket TBI like the Holley.
