LT1 Cam installation

Hey guys,
I finally got my LT1 cam in the mail the other day. I've been paying attention to everyones conversations about the cam so I'm pretty up to date on the whole thing. My question is can someone go over the cam installation so I know I don't forget anything. I'm going to install an Edelbrock TBI manifold with it too. I plan on replacing the timing chain and valve springs with this mod. I plan on getting new heads within a year too.
Thanks for your help.

The sort of overview you're looking for has been typed out a bunch of times here recently, just go through a search and you'll find plenty of info. Most of the work is self-explanatory and not too bad if you're semi-careful and have some help every once in a while.

The valve springs/seals took me a lot longer than I'd expected (almost a day), so be prepared for that. Also, I think if I'd known about the oil pan gasket issue w.r.t. replacing the timing chain cover, I may have planned to lift the engine and drop the pan and basically do it right (on the other hand, the hi-temp RTV I gooped along that area is holding perfectly thus far...).

Good luck!
