I have noticed that the intake manifolds, 670 cfm Holley TBI unit and other Bolt-on performance upgrades always seem to stop thier applications listing short of the 1992 TBI usage. Anyone know why? The Holley 670 CFM TBI unit for example says it's only for up to 1989 models (trucks at that).

Thanks,
Larry

I think 1992 was one of the lowest number prodution years. Maybe they didn't want to pay to have it certified? I can't imagine it being much different than the older ones.

The Holley will work. I have a '90 TBI and use it. Do a search to find more info on it.

TPS connector
The TPS connector is different. You have to get the part in my sig for your TPS to work.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the only difference is the TP Sensor.
