Found Caprice 8746 powerchip!
Found Caprice 8746 powerchip!
I looked at all the chip sites and non of them offered a chip for a caprice except for hypertech. They have one that goes with the cop (car 5.7 TBI) they even said it was for a 1990 8746 ECM. How well do you TBI guys think it'll work on my 350? see my sig. by the way I can't find a stock caprice chip and I have ZERO tolerance for PROM burning.
JPrevost is into chips now. I bet he'd make you one for a good deal.

off the top of my head it looks like 214/220@.05 round abouts. not too much if you have a good prom and a 350.

I was refering to his cam. I remembered seeing that one on crane's site when i was looking at cams. I was thinking of getting that one or the one below it myself. The exact values for the duration are 216/228@.05 (i was close). Bit high but i guess with some tuning it probably works ok. The lift does seem kinda high for stock heads but they seem to take it ok. Alot of the lo3 guys get away witht he lt1 cams and those have some decent lift.
