How well would a bone stock TBI unit work on an L98?
Before you all rip my head off, I know its not an ideal setup Its only a temporary solution.
Basically the topic states my question... but so you all don't think I'm a fool heres my situation.
Right now I have a 87 Z28 with a carbed L98. Its running the stock CC Qjet from the original LG4. I found a 92 RS that is for sale very cheap because the engine is blown from being run out of oil, but the body is straight and the interior is mint. My idea is to buy this RS, and put my 350 in it immediately. I don't really have time to mess with a TPI swap just yet as I have to get the 87 gone ASAP, and I need a car that runs ASAP. So I was gonna maybe get the RS, throw the L98 in it and use the TBI for the time being, part out my 87 and use the money I get to purchase a TPI unit.
Anyway... thats all... do you TBI experts think it would work ok as a temp solution?
Thanks.

a 350 Caprice cop car chip wouldnt hurt either. At the very least that would dump the 108mph speed limiter the 92 RS has.
