Does the TBI and TPI f-bodys use the same fuel pumps??
Does the TBI and TPI f-bodys use the same fuel pumps??
I just bought a Granatelli Universal fuel pump that is supposedly for TBI,TPI,LT1 and LS1. I already installed it and as my previous post states, I am having problems with performance. Is this "universal" pump not acceptable for my TBI????

Check your fuel pressure at idle. A high pressure/flow pump can overwhelm the TBI regulator. This will result in too high fuel pressure.

I'm running a TPI pump on my TBI car. The TPI pump is a common upgrade on a Crossfire car. The fuel pressure should be checked and adjusted if needed after the upgrade. The oem tbi fuel regulator compensates for the difference just fine.
