Ok more problems.

Ok I had a post the other day about my car stumbling and certain rpms. Well After completely removing the air cleaner it ran perfect so i figured that was it...the k&n was clogged. Well I cleaned it last night and put it back on today and it still stumbles at 1900-2500rpm but only when feathering the gas pedal at low speed. I thought well maybe the k&n still isnt clean so i bought a new puralotor filter and its not as bad now but it still does it. Take the thing off and it runs perfect....WTF?

The only conclusion I can come up with is that it's running rich with the air cleaner on?

That's not the normal problem with TBI, but I suppose if you've done the AFPR then it could be set too high?

Other than that, check the TPS. Maybe it's getting a bad reading? Or even check the base timing. If it's retarded too much I'll kinda do the same thing.

Good luck,
AJ

well I had a friend crank the car and i watched the injectors....cranked and didnt shoot fuel for a sec so I immediatly thought ignition module...I was right. Damn Im getting to good at figuring out whats wrong with my car. Shoot I used to waste all kinds of money replacing stuff

AJ...thats what i was thinking to...I was trying to figure out why it would need that much air. Its wierd that it didn't do it with the air cleaner off I still dont undertand that one. Oh well the module fixed it. Seems to start and run much better now to.
