What causes the blower wine sound?

What causes the blower wine sound?
Ok my car wines a BAD. It didnt start till i installed the edelbrock manifold. Ive check and checked and it isnt a vaccum leak i dont think. But it didnt do that before the intake...just sucking more air or what?

its just sucking more air, put the edelbrock intake on it with the K&N air filter and it made a whinning sound. i talked to my buddy that is a mechanic and he listened to it and said it was sucking more air.
