Adjustable Fule Pressure Regulator
Guys,
I was taking a look at the "how to make your factory fuel pressure regulator adjustable" article and had a couple questions for anyone who has done it.
My question starts at step 9 where you have to make the "threaded shaft movable" by drilling something out.
I think I know what has to be drilled out, but was looking for feedback from others who have done this.
So when you flip the cup over, so the opening is on your workbench, it looks kinda like an upside down tea cup, but on the side now sticking up there is a small hole which is about a quarter of an inch deep and then there seems to be some sort of hard compound in the bottom of this hole (Metal, aluminum, who knows what it is). Is this the stuff you have to drill out, and how do you know when you have drilled far enough??
Is the stuff above making sense to you guys???
Thanks
