Will a 454 tbi support a 14.1 at 96

I have a 84 monte that thinks it's a camaro so I hope you guys don't mind me mingling with you. So far my best run has been a 14.15 at 96.7 with a traction limited 1.97 60' time. Just can't stomp it off the line yet with the street tires. I have a 454 tbi and still need to put together the rest of the system. My car weighs 3600 pounds ready to go down the track so my best estimates put it at around 290-300 hp at the flywheel. From what I have seen in theory it should suport my engine but i was woundering if any one has done it before, also are there any problems i'm going to run into with this swap. I vaguely remember hearing somthing about the speed sensor but I have been out of the loop for a while. Thanks for your help!

it will easily support it. i ran that kind of mph on a stock bore tb with ultimate mods, i am sure the bigger tb can handle it eeasily.
