New 1/4 mile Times!!

Well I went back to the track tonight to run my car again. The only thing I have done since last year was removing the smog pump and flowmaster exhaust with no cat. My best time from last year is in my sig.
Heres tonights runs:
1st run
Re: .8554
60ft:2.28
330ft:6.5857
1/8:10.129
1/8mph:70.61
1000ft:13.2384
1000mph:77.53
1/4et:15.84
1/4mph:86.58

I also beat my buddies 78 Camaro Z28 350 he ran a 16.41 to my 15.89.
To top it off I finished the night by beating an 89 Iroc with an L05 with 454 injectors. He ran a 16.0776 to my 15.8799.

This is done with my mods in the sig, it's pretty much stock, no suspension mods yet either. Oct.18th I plan on putting in my LT1 cam S/R Torquer heads and ported L05 intake, and a custom prom. So I'm hoping for a mid 14.

A ported lo5 intake? Isnt the lo5 and lo3 intake almost identical? Id save for a edlebrock TBI intake or a carb manifold with adapter. Oh and you better be ready for some chip burning.

Yeah I've got posi but I think they're 2.73's. From what I've heard the edelbrock isn't much better than the l05 intake, so if i buy one for 20 bucks and port and gasket match the intake ports myself i think it'll flow better than an edelbrock for much cheaper.

I'm also getting a custom chip burned for the setup, but I'm having a hard time figuring out that Win ALDL connector cord to go from the laptop to the connector.

No this was at MoKan its a little podunk dragstrip on the kansas/missouri border. This is down in the southeast corner of kansas.

ah. I've never been to HPT, but it sounds really nice. I've heard of MoKan before. I race at KCIR.
