Do you have a before picture to post beside it. I would like to do the Ultimage TBI mods but not sure what to do. I have read the articles many times but still can't picture it in my head.
Thanks

no i dont have a before pic, I used a dremel cut off disc to cut the ridges off then i took a sanding block with some sandpaper and sanded it down and then i took a air wire brush and polish it up

I used an air powered die grinder for the big cuts....and a dremel to finish it off.

Camaro89RS355,
You took off all of the air filter supports. The open element will slide around on the throttle body now. I suppose you could tighten the wing nut down, but other than that, nothing's stopping it.

the aircleaner doesnt slide around without those supports. - its on the center stud, then its tight, you dont have to worry bout it slidding around. at all.
spend the money and get the highspeed carbide cutting wheel. looks like a table saw blade on a stick. it wont dull at all or gum up. use that to cut it down. then round everything with a carbide drum, or sandpaper one works too. finish with lighter sandpaper drum, then hand polish.
