IAT Sensor and Plenum a 92 Firebird
Hi,
I have to replace the manifold air intake temperature sensor on a 92 305ci V8 TBI Firebird because it is throwing a code 23. I was wondering if someone could give me instructions on how to take off the plenumn and any thing else i need to remove so that I can replace the sensor. Thanks

the iat is in the breather all you need to do is take take some pliars and remove the sensor. squeeze the top of the sensor pin and then just pull it out of the bottom

Do you have a TPI car? You're describing a TPI engine.
My friend's 91 RS starting throwing the IAT code so we hooked the laptop up to it and the sensor was sending a temp of 300*F or more. We started scratching the corrosion off of the peice of metal that the wires are hooked too. After we got it cleaned off it went back down to normal and he didn't have to buy a new one
