Freind of mine GAVE me a used 454 TBI!
What would I need to build it to hold 300Hp?
Injector size? What TPS is best to use?

And any problems I might expect.

 

what does the throttle body already have on it?

is it bare? or does it have injectors, sensors, etc.?

what other things do you plan on as far as your engine setup?

Its got everything on it, but its been weathered some Im gonna replace everthing,sensors,injectors ect.

My plans on the motor are either a SB 400 or a 350 crate, Im still not sure. A freind of mine has 2 SB 400's that need to be rebuilt but I can have one if I want it.
Either way Im olny looking for around 300Hp, don't want to be the fastest car in town but I still want to hold my own!!

hey z28 boy, how did that swap from l03 to gmpp ho350 go? did it require much fabrication to run tbi? how does it fun? what kinda problems did you run into? you can send me a private msg if you don't want to put it in here. Thanks.
