No new best time but best 60'
Got a 2.089 60' the other day at the track. Seems as if the stock 305 ESC and/or my fuel pump are giving me fits. I could only run a 95.8mph in the 1/4 even though I was killing people up to the 1/8 mile. Definatly something wrong with my car if I'm only able to run 14.1's and WAS running 13.8's. I'm going to run next weekend also but this time with the fuel pressure gauge up at the hood and then I'll try unhooking the knock sensor if fuel pressure looks fine. It's not mechanical else the car wouldn't pull those kinds of 60' times on 245 streets.
The car is lowered, Bilstien struts/shocks, STB, SFCs, wonderbar, huge sway bars all on, SLP boxed panhard and LCAs, NO relocation brackets, stock torque arm with poly bushing and I was able to cut a 2.089
, I'm happy with that. I'd like to drop the end link up front and get a 2.05 60' with these tires and then a sub 2.00 with the relocation brackets.
Just thought you'd like to know what's going on with my car.
I hate having no money else I would go ahead and get a new fuel pump and $75 for a 350 ESC module!
