305 and 350 esc
What is the difference between a 305 esc moudle and a 350 esc moudle? The reason im asking is somepeople said that i need to put one in my car because i went from a 305 to a 350.
Thanks, Michael

It's a good idea. In fact it's probably very important. The knock sensor is basically the same from 305 to 350, they are just the microphone, nothing special. The ESC listens to the sound from the sensor and figured if it's detonation. The problem with running a 305 ESC in place of a 350 is the difference in sound when knocking. The 305 won't have the same sound as a 350 and so you'll pickup no knock when there is some and sometimes false knock! It's a real problem. I have yet to change the ESC but I think I'm going to have to if I want to keep running with the knock sensor plugged in. I've been having fits with tuning the timing on my car so it's most likely the ESC's fault.

Changing knock sensor and ESC module is always recommended when changing 305 to 350.
