backfiring
add some fuel pressure.
when you open up the exhuast it allows the burnt combustion charge to get out more freely, that charge suppresses knock and back fire in a stock motor. although findign a back fire from a set of headers is much more dramatic than the normal effect.
jsut bump up the fuel pressure a touch and everythign will be ok.
