TBI nitrous

Hey guys. I might pick up a used nitrous kit from someone on our board and was wondering what everyone's experience was w/ the NOS kit and if they would recommend it. Currently, I have an LO3 w/ 3.42 posi, headers/y pipe, flomaster, fastchip, k&n, and some other little mods. thanks for your advice.

Donnie

While I dont have nitrous (yet) everyone that runs it seems to get crazy good times with it. 120 shots yield a full 2 second drop in times, as evidenced by Z-Rated and Camaroracer1992. Scary shizz. Makes me think tbi is fuel limited rather than air limited.

as long as you follow the instructions and have a good condition fuel pump youll have no problems with it. i ran abotu 33 10lb bottles throughmine at a 125 hp shot and had no problems with 94 sunoco fuel. i sold my motor to NJSPEEDER and he tore it down and literally allit all needed was a wipe down that was it my motor was in perfect shape with still perfect looking pistons and rings dont be afraid of it SMOKE STANGS AT A MARGIN OF THE PRICE!!!!!

The only thing I would do is get rid of the aftermarket chip. Other than that it should work out great.

i wouldnt ditch the aftermarket chip just yet. i ran a 160 stat and a hypertech thermomaster chip in my 92 with 125 hp shot of nitrous and 94 octane with 6 DEGREES BASE ADDED also and never had any lean or detonation probs.
