i know i guy that has a 383(with tbi intake) with about 350 horses he just built and i have a 92 rs 305 tbi and he said for 3,000 dollars he'll give me the engine and put it in for me. and hes positive it will run. is he full of **** .will it run ,or will it run right .wouldnt i have to change computers ,injector ,etc .he said everything will bolt right up(i know that) and it will run perfect .no changing anything. any information on this will help thank you in advance

 

I know that your tranny wouldn't last long! I find it hard to belive that the 383 and the stock computer would work together.

My thoughts are that this guy is ing you.

 

teh tranny will be fine and the computer can be tuned to handle anything. you can put a 383 into your car, but an injector upgrade adn custom ship are a must at absolute minimum.
