Im swapping a LT1 cam in my lo3, ive got 081 head castings that im currently porting, new valve springs and things that go with it, and a set of crane magnum rocker arms 1.52 ratio, edelbrock tbi performer intake, what kinda horsepower am i looking at now, it is a lo3 tbi 170 rated horsepower. What kind of air filter setup are you using, and do you have any exhaust work done? You're definetely going to see a much larger gains with the mods you mentioned if you allow your engine to breath.

 

its an 14x3 open element, i plan to get longtubes and true duals, but for now i got stock manifolds and flowmaster muffler with no cat.

 

Stock exhaust will hold you back to around a 25-30hp gain. With complete exhaust swap that should be a 40-50hp gain.

 

Those figures look a bit low to me. I would think with everything he wants to do:

I would think with everything there your looking at between 50-65hp. And If you did headers and full 3" cat back youd be looking at roughly 75-90. Throw a TBI spacer on there too......you'll like it.
