hey people
edelbrock performer tbi
or holly stealth dual plane using adapter (idle to 6800rpm range)
with my lt1 cam and later s/r torquer 305's?
which is probably a better selection. i'm shooting for 13sec 305 dailey driver.
yes i know i will be chip burning either way.

edelbrock RPM or a single plane, not sure if I'd go with a victor with a 305 though. Don't bother reading much into those "intake ranges". They depend on a lot of things but most of it has very little effect with TBI, only carbs. Example: Single plane doesn't give as smooth of a pulse for the carbs to pull in the fuel, TBI doesn't care, it's EFI! The single plane has a benifit because it'll make a smaller carb/TB look bigger because all cylinders share a common plenum. With the RPM intake there is already a shared plenum passage and the adaptor plate is open for an extra 1" so it'll give you very good overall performance with any efi friendly cam. The RPM intake is better than the performer in every way shape and form. I've never heard of somebody loosing "low end" even when using the RPM intake on a relatively stock LG4 so I couldn't see what the purpose of the performer is except that it's got EGR. Burn your own eproms and EGR is just a parameter that you USED to have and could enable with the click of a mouse

Also, make sure your running decent gears and posi as well as higer stalling torque converter to get you in the 13's.
