I am going to drop a 350 in my 91 RS. It will be bored 30 over with vortec heads and comp cam. I want to keep factory tbi/and computer/harnesses. What do I need to purchase to make the tbi work and what will I have to get for the computer? Thanks.

WINALDL scantool setup should be number one one the list. Then
1. 350 injectors, preferably 65lb/hr cop car injectors or Holley 670 TBI unit.

2. 350 Knock sensor and ESC module for 89 Caprice 350 or truck.

3. Custom chip based on the data from your scantool setup. Either by purchasing the prom burning equipment and doing it yourself or providing that data for someone else to.

4. Make sure that comp cam is TBI friendly. At least a lobe separation of 112 degrees.

 

Where can I get the scan tool and the prob burning equipment/software.?

Excuse my ignorance, but why do you have to have the knock sensor for the 350? Reason I am asking is I did the swap and I haven't gotten that. Thanks.
