How does this sound for tbi horsepower?

Ok this is what I'm thinking I want to do for the motor:
350 with TFS heads, Edelbrock tbi manifold bored to 2 inch(have already), cam with 215/218 dur. 489/503 lift and 115 lobe sep.(have it),full exhaust, 3:73 or 3:42 gears, 670 tbi unit, 2000-2200 stall, of course this will all be tuned with custom chip.
So what do you think? Can I get at least 350hp or better with this combo? And what kind of 1/4 mile times?

Later, Mike

I cannot tell you exactly, but it sounds close to my setup:

355 cu in, 10:1 compression, ZZ4 aluminum heads, Crane CompuCam (216/228 @ .050 lift; .454/.480 lift, and 112 degrees lobe seperation), stock TBI modified to 2 inch bores and 350 truck injectors, dynomax steet legal headers, free-flow cat, Edelbrock cat-back, 3.45 gears, 4L60 transmission, custom chip by JET.

My best to date at the drag strip is a 13.86 @ 99.4 mph.

that woudl be a prettty storng combo. only thing i woudl think abotu changing is teh stall speed you are looking at. if you go up a little bit more, say 2600-2800, you woudl see a huge difference. i had a 2000-2200 on my car for a whilke with a stock cam and it wasn't a huge gain. wiht the cam you are looking at it will definately not be enough.
are you gonna have that intake ported/polished/gasket matched while it is off? that woudl be anopther nice place to maek soem extra power.
good luck

Yeah, gonna port/polish/gasket match the intake. But on the stall, would something like 2600-2800 be to much for a daily driver? I know someone with a used Vigilantie for sale.

For me TBIs just get cantancous as you get to 325 HP. And I mean real HP. I got a string of 13.7s out of a similiar combo to your's though with a 3,200 stall and 3.23s.

91RS350, you need larger injectors or a new fuel pump and LOTS more fuel pressure. I would also consider buring your own eproms ($140 good investment). With less than you I'm trapping at 102+mph. I'm looking for more now that I've got a good fuel pump in the system. This one actuall has enough power to put fuel into the return line, stocker couldn't do it .
As for the combo, sounds good. Just be sure to use BBC injectors or holley's "newer" (no older than 2.5 years) injectors. I think you can pick up BBC injectors from the dealer for like $140 new for the pair, not sure if that's right so somebody correct me if I'm wrong.
I've noticed that most every TBI combo out there has issues with fuel, not air. The facts are simple. The TBI injectors stock are already running high duty cycles, increasing fuel pressure is good to lower it and make room but a lot of times you'll either hit the wall with the fuel pump limiting pressure (built in regulator) or you'll just demand so much fuel that it starves the motor with a lean AFR.
Grumpy, do you still have that car? If you're up for a little fun this spring time I'd like to get it over to National Trails Raceway. Maybe bring that other cool toy you've got in the garage .
