Hopefully when spring hits I am going to be hitting the salvage yards pretty hard. Have to find the 350 or cop car injectors. 305 injectors are not going to cut it on the motor I am planning. The $80 for a single new injector sounded like a really bad idea since I could get the whole TBI unit for $25 that incudes injectors.

I am just wondering if there is any markings on the injectors themselves that specifys if they are 305 injectors or 350/cop injectors. Or do I just have to go by engine tag under the hood? Or by the appearance of the car (I.E. cop car)?

 

Yellow/Blue--- 4.3L
Green/White--- 5.0L
Orange/Black--- 5.7L pickup
Yellow/Brown--- 5.7L Cop Car
Blue/Black--- Late big block pickup
Dark Red/Dark Blue--- big block pickup

I have never seen any colors on the injectors I have. I guess I've never looked, but I'm not saying they arn't there. Thanks for the info. I'll keep that in mind.
