its enough to make some one go nutz

i am trying really hard to figure out how to put a 330HP 350 crate motor in my truck. this is some thing that i have to due soon due to the fact that that the old motor is on its way out fast, i have tried superchips they told me that they cant due it. i emailed ed wright he said he could not due it if i wanted to keep my holley tbi so now i am up the creek with no chip burning equipment. no lap top and no way to data log. i need to find some one that has had good luck with burning chips for the 747 ecm and this motor or dose any one know of some one.

i dont see why ed wright wont do the chip if you have the holley tbi. The holley tbi is just a warmed over 454 tbi. Maybe he thinks you have the whole system? No, maybe hes just too lazy to update his bin for the 2in tbi Just call him again and tell him you have the big block tbi with XX pph injectors and the stock ecm. It shouldnt make too much more of a difference. Just a lower vacuum in the manifold at higher rpms.

ya i dont know what his prob is this is the email i got from them

We do a lot of custom chips for these engines, but you can not use the holley tbi unit we can't tune for these tbi's and get them right through the mail, we have enough problems with them here that Ed has stopped tuning for them.

i was like WTF

ROFLMAO, :sillylol: Holley's old TBI had crappy injectors, for the past 2 years the injectors are MUCH better units. I don't know what he's talking about, I don't have any problems. Maybe he understands that tuning through the mail with a 160 baud datacapture is a joke. I could do better without even looking at your winaldl data. Here's something some people forget, the VE tables are ADDERS. Most guys make the corrections to the main ve table vs 128/(logged BLM), this is fine if your adder table has 0's but if it doesn't, don't forget to change that table as well! I'd be interested to see what some of these mail order guys actually do exactly.

i just wish that i could find some one that is runing a 330 350 ho with a holley that knew what they where doing to burn me a chip so i could throw the motor in and then be able to get home and go to work so i could buy the stuff to tune the truck. the prob is i dont think the motor in the truck will hold out till i get enough to buy every thing and lern how to use it. I do not whant to have to buy a POS crate motor. if i am going to buy a crate its giong to be a sum what ok one.
