probably 250 before duty cycle and things like that become an issue... Mine does pretty well with the stock prom and the 55# injectors. I probably have around 240hp or so w/o the 2.25 in y-pipe and exaust hooked up.

At what fuel pressure?
I can't exactly tell without that important big of information.
Take the flow rating x sqrt(new pressure/rated pressure) = new flow rating. So if you figure 90#BBC injectors flow that at 12 psi, bump it up to 20 at WOT, that's 116# injectors, good for 400hp. Problem is that anything past ~350hp will want more air than a 2 barrel TB. Do a search, there is a lot of topics about supported hp.

Hey Dimented247

You metioned to me earlier that my stock fuel injectors would be too lean for my 350 TBI. What are they reted at. Cause if it's true I'd get new ones. I'm usingthe stock chip also. It worked great and had tons of power. But if I'm loosing out at the top end I'd consider the larger ones. I bought some for a heavy duty pickup with a 350, but they were way too big. THey didn't open till about 3000 rpm. Under that I was flooding myself. (7:1 air fuel ratio compared to ideal 14.7:1)

I'm using a 79 4bolt bored .030" over.I have 9:1 compression with 350 heads. I have an Edelbrock Intake, TD Performance BI spacer, Comp Cams XE262H with 218/224 lift @ .050 with total lift of 462/469 with 1.5 rockers.

It runs real strong, but if slightly bigger injectors would help out top end without sacrificing bottom it would be great . 1500 rpm @ 60 mph

how do the blms/int look? Thats a pretty hot setup you have. The stock ones are rated at 45 pph. Some 65 pph injectors + prom would definatly help. Make SURE you get winaldl and make sure your not going lean at WOT. The computer has no idea how much fuel the motor needs at WOT so it just goes off the tables in the prom. Good recipe for disaster if things arnt set up right.

I'll check out my engine soon when I have the time. I have to take it apart cause one of my friends put a ring upside down when we put it together. I'll check my plugs , pistons, and heads . If I've been running lean, they'll be gray in color. And I'll find out the rating of the injectors I put in for the switch, Like I said before, they were at minimum out put until around 3000 rpm. I'm going to get a few gaskets also in the spring and get a friend to give me his injectors from his truck, to see if they make a difference in power.
