If I put a 350 from a 1987 Sierra into my 1990 rs could I use the chip from the Sierra or would I need a Custom chip? And does any one know how many hp a stock Sierra had?And other then the motor what would have to be swapped?

 

ok i just did a search and saw it wouldn't work i would need a Caprice chip

 

Do you know that the moter that you took out of that truck does not have a roller cam in it either. The one in that truck is a flat tappet cam you would be better off if you put a lt1 cam in that 350 while you had the moter out of the car.
