headers and plugs

headers and plugs

I am looking at a set of summit headers and was wondering if stock size plugs were gonna be a problem.anybody?

I'm not sure if it's so much the plugs that you have to worry about as it is the wires/boots. when I put headers on my car, I had to get all 90* boots so the wires would not touch the headers. I'm pretty sure that unless the headers go straight down from the exhaust ports (which I doubt they do) then you will be fine with regular plug sizes. It's just the boots and wires melting/shorting that you have to worry about. Lots of clips/zip ties solve the problem.
