Hmmm, is no ESC bad?
Hmmm, is no ESC bad?
Well my problem is this....I have recently swapped a 350 in to my car and I realized that my knock sensor has been cut off completely by the previous owner! I drive around without one because the car still runs fine...but I was wondering if I'm not getting any spark advance because of this, and that's maybe why my car doesn't pull past 4k rpm. If this is true...I am really dumb and have been hurting my engine bad. Also my esc module is still from the 305, but since it isn't working I don't think changing it would help anything. Any advice would be helpful

You should be getting a code 43. I put a 355 in my car and didnt konw that i had to change anything at the time. Then I came to this wonderful site and learned that i needed to change the injector's, chip, esc, and knock sensor. I have allmost everything i need now i have the 65lb cop car injector's, 350 cop car chip , 350 esc moudle, and the 350 knock sensor, but when i went to put in the knock sensor it would not come out. And the conector that goes to the knock sensor just crumbled when i took it off the sensor. Now i have to take it to the shop and get it rewired and have them take the knock sensor out. Oh and im getting a code 43 witch is ESC. that's because i dont have my knock sensor hooked up either. so you should be getting one too. If you arent getting a sec light, then make sure your ses light hasent blown out. And yes my car only pull's to 4000 RPM's too so i think not having the knock sensor pluged up is what is causing this. Hope this help's you out
