Adjusting the TBI FPR

I am rebuilding the throttle body on my dads 91 tbi 350 truck and thought i would make the fpr adjustable. Do i make the spring shorter(turn screw counter clockwise) to increase pressure, or make the spring longer(clockwise). There is a window in the fpr with a tab sticking out that moves up and down while making adjustments, Would a good starting point be in the middle?

Thanks alot

Turning the screw in will increase the pressure. You'll HAVE to have a gauge to come up with any type of reasonable starting and finished pressure.
