Problem after Ultimate TBI Please Help
Over the weekend I took the TBI unit off and shaved the throttle ridges. I didn't touch the fuel pod or the shaft that goes thru the throttle blades.
I finished putting everything back together and attempted to start it just now and the check engine soon light came on and the car idled really funny.
The idle was at about 1000 rpms and was steady but the idle sounded "Sloppy" for lack of a better word. I feathered the throttle a little and the car acted like it wanted to die but it didn't.
Does this sound like a vac leak? What could I have messed up?

sounds like you didnt hook up or properly hook up the Throttle position sensor (TPS) or Idle air control (IAC) sensor, those really could be the only things wrong. Also check the vacuum lines going to the tbi.
