65# injectors
I just got my friends 330hp vortec motor in his 89 formula. Was a 305 tbi car. Not knowing any better, I put in 90# holley injectors. I should have done my research better. I think they are too big. I did not make any chip changes or the knock sensor or esc module changes that are suggested. The car runs ok except it seems to bog off the line and idle kind of slow. Also going up hills between 30-40 mph it shudders. I am guessing I need to put 65# injectors in the tbi. Does anybody know the gm part #? I work at a dealer and the parts guys know nothing. Please help. Thanks, Mark

yes 85pph are way to big at idle with the stock chip, even for my 383. I ended up making my own chip for my 383 and using the 85pph.
Since you in STL too. Check out the link in my sig.

I didn't know anyone from St.Louis posted here. How bout that...
90# injectors are WAY too big for a stock chip. You could try using the 65#'ers but if I remember right that engine is going to want a custom chip.

yeah man, you should invest your money in chip tuning equipement instead of new injectors. You will definetely want a custom chip. If you don't feel confident in burning you own chips then try tbichips.com. he's did excellent work for me in the past. Just grab some winaldl data and send it to him-he'll hook you up. good luck
