No start...

Hi Guys,
Here's my problem(s):
My car is a 1983 Trans Am 25th Anniversary Daytona Pace Car Replica with the Crossfire engine. Last fall as I was driving the engine died and would not start again. I did some trouble-shooting before winter hit, then parked it in the driveway under a car cover until recently. My trouble-shooting last fall showed that I was not getting spark - the engine turned over freely, I could see the injectors squirting fuel, and no codes on the computer. That's as far as I got, until today. Today I trouble-shot the electrical system and found the coil was bad. I replaced the coil, then tried to start the engine. Still turns over freely, but now the injectors are *not* squirting fuel. I am also not getting *any* idiot lights when I turn the key to the ignition position, and therefore cannot tell if I have any trouble codes or not. Neither injector is squirting fuel. I can also hear the fuel pump run when I first turn the key. It sounds just like it did when the car would run... I'm gonna hit the books again and see if I can figure this out, but if anybody has any suggestions, I'm all ears! Thanks,
Rob

You might check the ignition module. Have you put the old coil back in to see if the injector start working again?

Haven't tried reinstalling the old coil. I also haven't messed with the ignition module. I think the coil check was third in the trouble-shooting list, so that's where I stopped and replaced the coil. How does this stuff affect the fuel system?
Thanks!

In all reality the coil shouldn't effect the fuel delivery but the ign module sends the electrical pulses the ecm needs to calculate the injector pulses. Something like that.

Hummm... OK, thanks for the info. I'll check the module.
