Yeah, I have the PowerMax 2031 (it used to be called the CompuCam Series). I love it and it passed emissions with flying colors (it was also in fresh rebuilt engine).

As far as power, it has great part thottle responce on the low end (WOT is a little on the weak side until 2200 RPMs... I think I need to richen the mixture up a bit. I still have the stock FPR).

Other mods are in my sig..

Later,
-Mike

Might want to look at the ZZ4 cam.I picked one up on ebay for 125.00 shipped. It is not much bigger than the Crane 2031 and cheaper.I can not comment on how it idles or if it will pass emmisions. As it is still waiting to be installed .You will need a custom chip to make the most of it though.

i am also doing a 350 TBI swap this summer (also live in CA) and i plan to use the LT1 cam just because i know it is a TBI friendly cam and would be easier to pass emissions with as compared to a zz4 cam or something more agressive. And the cam should still make a lot of power.
