Code 44

Most likely clogged O2? Problem is very schitzo... sometimes it runs good sometimes not, I'm thinking o2 sensor fouled from crappy melted spark wires...any ideas?

i'm just looking at code 44 in the gm manual and its stating
(1) check the ecm wiring connections, particularly terminals 15 & 8
(2) check for vacuum leaks at the tbi if tbi equipped, vacuum hoses or the intake manifold gasket and if none of them are the problem replace the O2 sensor , so you must have a lean exhaust
