Exhaust to get??

I have an 305 TBI so should I get the flowmaster Catback system or just the 80 series muffler. I don't have a lot of cash but I want to make my car sound better..

i like both the hooker and the flows

i have the 3" american thunder on mine (i picked it because one of the local guys in my club was selling it brand new in box for less than summit) i also put a 3" cat on at the same time.

Performance wise how much of a difference would there be?? Could I just add 3" piping later after I got the money??

just have a shop bend you up a 3" pipe, get a Catco high flow cat for $50,gut your cat and put a pipe in it,or just replace the whole thing with a pipe, and get a Flowmaster 80 series muffler.you wont regret it.sounds awesome, and it will give you a noticeable gain over the stock 2.25" junk thats on it now.plus you will save 200 bucks over getting a system from Flowmaster or whoever else.

I would suggest doing the entire TPI exhaust all at once from the headers back. That would be a HUGE gain!
