Help with tdc
Ok.. i know how to abjust the timing..
The thing is that some idiot at the shops when aseked to do a tune up set my timing to ~16 btdc.. the car car "fine" but the knock was pritty bad at ~3000rpms so i lost all top end power.
the problem is that when me and my friend adujusted the timimg againg the car ran worse when timing was set at TDC like the stikker in the engine bay states.. it would almost die.. and when dying timing would retard to about 10 atdc... the best the car would ideal was at 10~12 btdc..
what gives??? this is way wierd..

There's a wire you need to disconnect when setting the timing on our cars, did you do this? Check this link out it explains what I'm talking about:

Do you have the stock chip in there? You might have a bad timing chain as well.
