My #1 mod recommendation to LO3 guys

Well of the mods I have done I say a new Torque convertor is the best. I have a TCI 9.5" with a 2200 stall and man what a great difference at start up. Sure is great off the line. I haven't installed the new rear with the 3.70's yet so maybe that will be better but a new covertor should be high on every auto LO3 guys list.

Haha, yeah I mean ACT.
ACT, TCI, whats the difference they are both 3 letter acronyms.

I also saw on his website the 2400 was the lowest stall speed available. But I was told it was 2200. And I know he is able to change the stall speed of the TC's so either he modifieds this on to stall at 2200, or there is a mistake.

a high stall converter aint really worth it if you got hte stock LO3 set up O_o considering hte power and torque dies at like 5k or so. The LO3 is all low end. One of the biggest mods I've noticed is changing the heads. That damn swirl port BS just sucks. I threw on a set of SS monte heads and the performance gain was pretty damn good.

Uhm..... the STOCK TC is a lockup.

AAMOF, the lockup feature is what the tranny relies on to pump fluid through the stock tranny cooler when you're cruising at low RPMs.
