Where to get a block off plate?

I am getting ready to remove all of the emmisions components on my 92 rs with a 305 tbi, and yes I am removing everything in the chip as well, but where can I get an egr block off plate? Do I have to make one or is there somewhere I can buy one? Thanks!

You should be able to pick one of those up at ANY hot rod or performance shop. Or you can just make one with tin snips and a sheet of thin metal from Home Depot.

I'm pretty sure you meant EGR but no, no one makes one. You could either have one made for you, make one yourself, or get a non-EGR intake manifold. If you get the manifold then you'll see a performance increase from the EGR delete and the manifold, and more performance is always good!

Didn't you know that you'll just be killing baby seals for marginal if no noticable performance gains?

Yeah, i meant EGR, lol, my bad. Thats what I get for typing too fast. I know I won't see a performance gain from removing it, but I just don't like the idea of my engine sucking in that crap. It doesn't sit too well with me. Besides it will clean up the engine bay even more. Thats always a good thing. Well looks like i'll be making my own block off plate unless someone knows where I can get one, which it doesnt look like anyone makes one. Thanks guys.

Thanks a lot man. I really appreciate it. I think the tpi one might work. Does anyone know if there is a difference between the tpi egr valve and the tbi egr valve?

NAPA lists the EGR valves as two different part numbers so it doesn't look like a TPI plate would work for TBI.

even though they have 2 different part numbers the plate still might work, i would look more into it. Get a picture of a TPI intake and compare its EGR openings with those on a TBI intake. More than likely they are pretty similar if not the same.
