Tbi Manifold

ok... HOW MUCH DIFFERENCE does an aftermarket TBI (w/ EGR) INTAKE MANIFOLD make for power (hp/torque)... ( I have ultimate TBI mods, 65 LB injectors, new pressure reg..) with 300 + HP .. is it NEEDED,??? would you recomend the Holley, or the Edelbrock for a 305... will either have trouble with stock hood clearance (with 3x14 cleaner) ??
thanks guys

I'm running the carb version of the performer rpm, I've heard the edelbrock tbi manifold isn't much of an improvement over stock. Haven't heard much on the holley manifold though.

Oh and my air cleaner rubs on the hood.

You'll make ALOT more low-end torque. LOL.

why lol, because it's funny how much low end torque, OR because it doesn't DO ANYTHING... ??

My friend is using the Holley Pro-jection on his tbi. Personally I like my Performer RPM better, but he doesnt have hood clearing issues and I dont think the difference is very much. The runners definitely look larger on my rpm though.
