I was talking to this guy the other today, hes selling his car its an 87 transam 305 tpi, 74,000 miles t tops , this awesome like dodge viper blue color mint condition. He was asking 5k for it. You guys this its a good buy and worth it. Id probably have to sell my 92 rs after i buy it though.
I was thinking maybe trying to talk him down to 4,600 -4,800

auto or manual? That's a lot of money for an '87. I probably wouldn't buy a thirdgen before '88 and preferably get a '91-92. Build quatlity, WC T5, Roller cam, more power all come to mind. I also probably wouldn't get a 305 TPI if I wanted to mod it A LOT. A 350 TPI would be a different story though.
Where in NY? Wait a few months and I'll sell you my car for ~$3500, it WILL be in the 13s by then on street tires and full weight. It's also a metallic blue.

There are a lot of thirdgens out there, and honestly if I were to buy another Camaro now after owning one and being on this board I would be very selective with my next buy. I would go for a 91-92 model year because I love my 91 style and I'd make sure it had a 350, but that's just me.
