305 TBI 2 305 TPI Kit
305 TBI 2 305 TPI Kit
has anyone tried to apply this kit yet from tacreationsusa.com
http://www.tacreationsusa.com/new_page_3.htm#TPIPKG I am looking to convert my motor to a tpi without doing the whole motor swap. Im looking at the full kit not just the intake. Can anyone else think of anything else i would have to get that is not listed in that kit. I find that it is easier to get quality parts for tpi's than for tbi's and still keep it emissions legal. Plus i want the aftermarket ram air hood and airbox from ramairhoods.com and for that i will need a tpi.
If someone has done this swap how hard was it and how long did it take you to get it done. I don't have a month to spend on it i need it done in a weekend.

HP fuel pump and fuel lines come to mind. The stock pump only makes around 14 psi of pressure. You may also need a maf depending on what year the ecm is. Didnt see it listed. The swap should be doable in the time frame of a few days if you have all the stuff you need. The price is about right and ive always been tempted to convert over to tpi but i dont know if id see any true gains over what i have now.

oh, if you want good performance, id get the kit with the SD tpi ecm less the tpi intake and have fuel injector bosses machined into a carb intake and mount a 4 bbl throttle body on top. Itll defiatly flow better then the tpi intake ever could. Me and my friend want to do this some day.
