Speed Limiter

https://www.thirdgen.org/newdesign/tech/unlimited.shtml

Ok, I've read this article and was wondering if there is any noticable gain? Is it worth it in terms of it's pro's and con's? How bad will it be if I permanently disconnect it? I't claims that I'll be able to go faster than 110 MPH, is this true? Can anyone post pics of where this is actually located?

Thanks

if you go that route, once you flip the switch your speedo will show 0 MPH.

i have mine disabled via a custom prom, for $30 you could get that tbicips guy to burn you a chip with the speed limiter disabled.

It doesnt matter because there's no reason for a 305 tbi to go faster than 35 mph.

And while you're there, fix all the "creative coding" GM was forced to use to pass emissions.

Yeap. If you don't really know much about it or have the resources then go here. He is a good guy and can burn you a custom chip for your exact car. The best part is it's only $30!
