I have just installed a new D1-SC on my carburated 84 Camero. I have the 12 rib serptine belt set-up and I was wondering if anybody else has had problems with keeping these belts on. I have already ruined 2 belts and want some ideas before the 3rd belt goes on. I have already made a bracket to go from the supercharger to the strut tower to help eliminate the flex in the bracket. Seems to have help the flexing problem.
It seems that everytime I hit 10psi boost the belt rolls forward. I have done about every measurement I can think of it it seems to be true.
Any ideas would be helpful.
