spark plug deciphering..

anyone know or have charts for the deciphering of the numbers & letters on plugs.. champion , ngk, ac delco???

They all number them different.

I do know that the ACD's go from something like 42(cold) to 49(hot). So the RT44TS or similar plug is in the middle somewhere. I have the Champion decoding sheet here somewhere...

I really like Champion Truck Plugs. I've been using the 4018 plugs and they work fantastic. Spark plugs are one of those things like colors. You just gotta find one YOU like...

i can answer that ?

ac-delco

as the # goes up the hotter the plug same for autolite,bosch

the only other plug that work reverse in #'s are ngk and denso

will find out more info when i get to work this afternoon.
