Look for some answers

I am new to this board. ( My first post )
My son has a 87' chevy truck, 350 EFI, all stock. He wants to wake it up a little. I have never ever dealt with a EFI engine before. This is what I was thinking about doing, and I will see what you guys think about it
I have a set of Alum. L98 vette heads, ( casting numbers 10088113 ) completely redone, bigger valves installed, ported and polished, ( was going to use these on a 383 stroker for me, but they are not going to give me the HP numbers that I am looking for) they are 59cc combustion chambers. I am thinking about putting these heads on his truck, with a Comp 268h cam .454 lift 268 duration, then adding headers. Will this cam work out good with TBI? If not, what cam would be good with this set up? I am thinking that with these heads, they are going to bump up the compression ratio to around 10.0:1 compression. Also, if I do this, will the stock TBI feed this enough for it to work out? I am looking for ideals, so if you have some post them. Not trying to make a 10 second truck out of it, just want to wake it up a little. Going to change out the gear in it soon also, going from 2.73 to 3.73 12 bolt.

I believe there are a few guys on the board running 268 cams. If not go with an LT1 or ZZ4 cam. Those heads and that cam would wake it up nicely. You will need custom chip tuning though. Not an "off the shelf performance chip". You can either find a person who knows how to burn chips or buy the equipment yourself for under 300 bucks i believe.
