smoking problem

I just had my heads re worked, new seals, seats, ported, new valves. I put my car back together this last weekend and when I started it, it smoked like crazy. Thick blue smoke, which I know is oil, came out of the exhaust and never let up. I checked the oil and the level dropped about a quart. I have never seen this happen before. Has anyone had this problem before? What could cause this?

well it could only be 2 things if your using lots of oil.well meybe a few more. bad valve seal,, bent valve, cracked head,,, or bad gaskets and or miss aligned placement ,,, or dirty mating surfaces
....this may be a long shot but possably even the pcv, but thats doubtful...sorry
