Injectors

First off i have a 89 LO3 with 3inch exhaust all the way back, Lt1 cam, double roller chain, performer tbi intake, turbo city throttle body base with injector spacer, and pulleys. I have the gm adj. fuel press reg. on the way with the top down spring. Now with 65pph injectors what pressure do you think it should be set at at idle? Also are the 65pph too much for this engine or can the fp be adjusted enough to compensate? I also had planned to get some custom prom tuning in, is the regulator going to make it tricky? Any help would be appreciated

65pph injectors are too big to run with the stock chip. They will work good for you once you get a chip custom burned for your application. As long as you do not continually change the fuel pressure, the regulator will not effect chip tuning as long as you pick a psi you want to run and stick with it, and burn your chip based on that fuel pressure.
